Simkar Adds Low Profile Lens to GVV Luminaires
Simkar is pleased to announce that its GVV LED Canopy Lighter offering has been enhanced with the availability of a new low-profile lens.
This new frosted, impact-resistant polycarbonate lens offers a more architectural look while also providing glare-eliminating diffusion.
The GVV Series luminaires offer a full range of technologies, price points, and options. These rugged, die cast aluminum fixtures are ideal for parking garage and canopy lighting at schools, hotels/motels, malls, banks, parks, and more. With a broad array of technologies and wattages, reducing energy and maintenance costs has never been easier. Local, State, and Federal incentives may also be available for additional savings based on lighting applications and technologies.
In addition, the 43W LED model recently gained a listing on the Design Lights™ Consortium Qualified Products List, which allows specifiers, engineers, architects, designers, and property owners to quickly identify and select fixtures that provide excellent energy performance and may be eligible for state and utility energy efficiency program incentives.
The 43W LED GVV uses Cree™ XM-L LEDs and has a comparable light output to a 100W PSMH fixture with a Lumen output of 3,700. The calculated LM80 lifetime of the LEDs is hours. Occupancy sensing, dimming, and High-Low switching options are available. Operating range is -35ºC to 55ºC (-31ºF to 131ºF).
