All Orbit 4” Ceiling Fan and Light Fixture Support Boxes and Hangers comply with NEC 314-27 for up to 70 lbs of ceiling fan load or 70 lbs of fixture load. The boxes range in depth from ½” to 2 1/8” and include non-metallic sheathed cable connectors. NM clamps are installed in 1 ½” and 2 1/8” boxes.
Orbit Bar Hangers for light fixture and fan support now include NBH (new construction) bar hangers, which slide apart to fit joist spacings from 16” to 24,” and OBH (old work) bar hangers that also accommodate spacings from 16” to 24”. No tools are necessary for bar expansion.
