Orbit Hangers Allow Precise Placement Between Studs
New multi-box bar hangers that allow the precise horizontal placement of electrical boxes between studs are now available from Orbit Industries.
Two models are featured: Model MBBH-16 fits into 16” stud spacings and Model MBBH-24 fits into 24” stud spacings.
The Orbit multi-box bar hangers accommodate both 4” and 4 11/16” square steel boxes, which can be installed anywhere along the horizontal hanger bracket. A stamped groove at the top and bottom of the hanger rail holds the boxes in place and offers additional reinforcement and flex resistance.
Bar hangers are fabricated from pre-galvanized 1.1 mm thick sheet metal and are designed for box depths of 1 1/2 “ and 2 1/8”.
By saving assembly time, multi-box bar hangers are especially useful in pre-fab construction.
