OneSource Distributors Announces Promotional Appointment
OneSource Distributors, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Sarno to Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Jason will continue to report within the organization to Michael (Mike) Smith, President and COO and also manage both programming teams and infrastructure teams in addition to expanding efforts in developing new tools.
Jason is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. He has a degree in Engineering Physics with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. Jason has 15 years hands-on experience in software development, information technology, distribution software and electrical distribution. Jason began his distribution software development career as a Senior Software Engineer at Eclipse, Inc. in Boulder, CO. His role with Eclipse grew into Chief Architect which encompassed leading the development organization, including creating and leading the ecommerce development division.
During this time, Jason also became certified as a green belt in Six Sigma process excellence and Agile Software Development methodologies. In 2006 he moved from Intuit to join OneSource Distributors as Director of Information Systems in Oceanside, CA.
Jason’s background in ERP Software Development, Software Architecture, Hard Goods Distribution and Distribution Software and Technology has been an invaluable asset to not only within the OneSource Team, but for many key customers as well. Jason’s key accomplishments within OneSource include the development and integration of its web based dashboard systems that support sales, operational and purchasing efforts. Additionally, his innovation and expertise has led to many enhancements in the company’s enterprise operating system, Eclipse, which enables OneSource associates throughout operating divisions to be more productive and effective.
