Omni Cable Appoints Eugene Bruni to Board of Directors
Omni Cable, headquartered in West Chester, PA, announces the appointment of Eugene (Gene) P. Bruni (retired United Electric) to their Board of Directors.
After an extensive search, it was determined that Gene Bruni would be a perfect candidate to round out Omni Cable’s Board of Directors. His leadership skills, industry expertise, in addition to his ESOP experience at United Electric, will add value to the current Omni Cable Board.
Recently retired from United Electric (UE), headquartered New Castle, DE, Mr. Bruni held various senior positions while employed at UE. During his tenure, he was one of the most successful outside salesmen for the company, rising to Vice President of Sales, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and finally President of the company. Gene brought a unique blend of market insight, customer understanding, and business acumen to each of his roles and significantly contributed to the growth of the company from 35 employees, one location, and $3 million in sales to 300 employees, 15 locations and $185 million in sales. Omni Cable is eager to utilize the significant breadth of knowledge he will offer. “Omni Cable is so fortunate to have Gene join our Board. Gene was one of the key employees in the establishment of the company’s ESOP in 1995, and he served on the United Electric Board of Directors from 1996 through 2011. His ESOP experience and knowledge will contribute greatly to Omni Cable’s ESOP employees.
