Customers enjoyed a Cinco de Mayo fiesta which included a Mexican lunch from I Love Tacos out of San Diego. The lunch spread even included roasted corn from The Corn Specialist. A Mariachi band entertained guests throughout the lunch hour.
A local tradition that contractors look forward to, CED Pasadena hosted their 26th chili cook off on October 18th. Sixteen manufacturers and manufacturer’s representatives cooked up their secret family recipes in the hopes of winning the coveted honor of being named best chili.
In the Inland Empire, March Air Field Museum is home to a large collection of aircraft and historical memorabilia from our nation’s military. It is a great place to learn about our military and the history behind many of the wars we have been engaged in. Recently it was also home to a trade show for electrical contractors hosted by CED Tri-County.
The Illuminating Engineering Society of Orange County hosted an exterior lighting expo at the Bowers museum in Santa Ana on November 14th. More than 40 lighting and lighting related manufacturers participated in the evening event. It was a great time for customers and manufacturers to explore options in outdoor lighting. Manufacturers that displayed their products were Barron lighting, Light Laboratory Inc, Sebco, Rayon Lighting, Holophane, Philips, Tivoli, and Focus Industries.
On a rainy southern California day, contractors in the Carson area took a break from their busy schedules for the second counter day at Independent Electric Supply. With over 30 manufacturers’ booths featuring the latest and greatest products the industry has to offer, contractors had the chance to shop, ask questions, and view demonstrations.
