Bridgeport Fittings Introduces Raintight Reducing Sealing Washers

To help make a contractor’s job easier and quicker, Bridgeport Fittings has introduced Mighty-Seal™ Raintight Reducing Sealing Washers.

The new Mighty-Seal™ product is ideal for use when a concentric knockout in a NEMA 3R box or enclosure breaks out larger than expected. The Bridgeport solution eliminates the need for caulking and will maintain the enclosure’s 3R Rating.

The Bridgeport washer is used in conjunction with the supplied standard reducing washer on the inside of the enclosure. The installer can then attach a conduit with a lock nut, or install a standard liquid tight or rain tight fitting to complete the installation.

Constructed of galvanized steel with a sunlight and moisture resistant elastomer over molding, these patent-pending products are available in five trade size ranges: ¾” – 1” (Cat. No. 1061-RT), 1” – ½” (Cat.No. 1062-RT), 1” – 3/4” (Cat.No. 1063-RT), 1 1/4” – 3/4” (Cat.No. 1065-RT) and 2” – ½” (Cat.No. 1071-RT).
