Amerlux Vice President of International Sales Ted des Enfants has relocated to the company’s headquarters to lead sales, marketing and product development efforts from a corporate level. For the past four years Mr. des Enfants worked from his Tampa, Florida office for Amerlux, a leader of task-specific, energy-efficient lighting solutions for the retail, supermarket, commercial and hospitality markets.
Mr. des Enfants has an impressive international career in the lighting industry covering both established and fast growing emerging markets, including Europe, Mexico, Asia, and Central and South America. He is a real entrepreneur with a clear strategic vision who is helping lead the global transformation to energy efficient LED based lighting solutions. He works closely with lighting designers, architects and end-users to specify Amerlux products anywhere outside of North America.
Recent success stories include the Rosewood Abu Dhabi Five Star Hotel and Resort, which featured Amerlux Lighting in guest rooms, suites, villas and ballrooms. Working within the international specification community to create lighting solutions for commercial, retail and hospitality applications, Mr. des Enfants attends a multitude of international trade events and utilizes a variety of channels to distribute Amerlux products. He engages the company’s complete North American team of in-house sales representatives and independent sales agencies, along with the firm’s global network of international sales representatives.
