90 Professionals Earn CEP Designation

The National Association of Electrical Distributors congratulates the 90 individuals earning the Certified Electrical Professional — Inside Sales ™ or Certified Electrical Professional – Outside Sales designation in July 2012 from CEP Certification L.L.C., a professional credentialing organization established by NAED to administer the CEP exam.

CEP is a leading professional designation for distributors, manufacturers and others serving the electrical distribution channel. Certification demonstrates knowledge and expertise on the products and services offered by the electrical industry, granting holders a new level of credibility and professionalism.

CEP certification identifies excellence in areas such as product knowledge, customer service, and sales, giving designees added credibility in the electrical industry. Recertification is required every three years to maintain integrity of the designation and promote ongoing education and professional development.

Since the first its exam in 2009, the CEP program has certified 536 individuals across 44 states, with 84 companies currently participating.
